Milk Farm
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
CONTENT WARNING: suicide
MILK FARM is a socio-political project I developed at the School of Design of the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. It was originally developed within 5 days. (This is the polished version that went through an additional few days of QA and minor finishing touches).
Suicide among dairy farmers is a huge, constantly growing problem, enforced by the economic system of milk and dairy products.
In Milk Farm the player is challenged by a scripted, repeating process of random and always dropping milk prices. It is, at its core, a miniature simulation of the vicious cycle many dairy farmers across the world find themselves in, that too often leads to the farmers taking their own lives.

Shows the dark reality of what goes on in a form of a game. I never realized of this situation and I am glad I was made aware of it.
As for the game itself, it was pretty good. This is probably just me but I felt as if the controls were moving too fast. But luckily I got used to it eventually and it didn't really bother me anymore.
Hi NeonAmnesia,
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad you liked the game and that the speedy controls weren't too much of a problem in the end. Thank you for playing!
